Device Home Screen Configuration
Customize the HomeScreen of your devices to show the apps you need quick access to.
Every Ari OSdevice comes with a standard set of HomeScreen Apps. But did you know you can change these to show what is relevant to your end users?
The standard apps included on the HomeScreen include
- My Programs (App meu and always required)
- My Camera (Camera App)
- My Files (File Browser)
- My Training (Training Guide for Ari OS Headset use)
With the introduction of the HomeScreen Configurator, we've made it even easier to change the order or apps which are displayed on the Ari OS HomeScreen*.
From your Ari Business Cloud Workspace you can change the HomeScreen on a device or group of devices.
For a Device:
Go to Devices (on the left hand Side) >Home Screen button.
On the left hand side you'll notice the Applications you normally see on your Ari OS Device. On the right hand side you can change the order of these default apps, choose not to display an app, or add in a Custom App.
For a Group:
Go to Groups (on the left hand Side) > Select your group > Home Screen button.
On the left hand side you'll notice the Applications you normally see on your Ari OS Device. On the right hand side you can change the order of these default apps, choose not to display an app, or add in a Custom App.

Custom Apps
You can display custom apps on your Ari OS Device Home Screen by choosing 'custom app' from the list and typing in the package name on your device. You can choose one custom app with the Ari Core Workspace and multiple custom Apps with the Ari Pro workspace.

Kiosk Mode
We've written a separate article here to explain what Kiosk Mode is and how to use it.
