in preparation of Ari OS rollout
Overview
RealWear Cloud is gradually transitioning to Ari OS aligned domains as part of the rollout of the Ari OS software package, which supports both RealWear and non-RealWear devices. During this transition, the services themselves are not changing, but you may notice a refreshed UI that aligns with Ari OS branding and design.
Who this impacts: Customers who access RealWear Cloud via browser bookmarks, admin portals, APIs, marketplace, developer resources, or who maintain network allowlists and integrations that reference RealWear Cloud domains.
What this is: A domain, naming, and UI alignment update.
What this is not: A functional breaking change.
"RealWear Cloud" which includes Foresight, Launchpad, Marketplace, and our Identity Provider service - will become "Ari Business Cloud" - a cloud solution looking to offer the same capabilities and enable the same b2b relationships as "RealWear Cloud", but for more AR devices than just those manufactured by RealWear. This refreshed solution will see active development, as part of our broader Ari OS initiative, in 2026 and moving forwards.
What’s changing
Over the next few weeks, RealWear Cloud services will begin to be served from new Ari OS domains. You can expect:
-
Updated domains (URLs)
-
In many cases, a UI refresh consistent with Ari OS

Timeline
-
By December 15, 2025: All RealWear Cloud services will start to be available on their new Ari OS domains.
-
Until March 31, 2026: Existing RealWear Cloud domains will remain available and unchanged.
During this period, you can safely use either the current RealWear Cloud domains or the new Ari OS domains, based on what works best for your team.
Why these dates
We chose these dates to balance adoption speed with customer stability:
By December 15, 2025 (new domains live for all services): This creates a clear point when every customer can begin switching to the Ari OS domains. Having a single “everything is available” milestone helps teams standardize, update documentation, and start moving without waiting on individual services.
Until March 31, 2026 (legacy domains remain available): We’re keeping the existing RealWear Cloud domains running for a limited overlap period to reduce risk and avoid forcing a rushed cutover. Many customers need time to coordinate across teams to update bookmarks, internal documentation, allowlists, firewall rules, and integrations.
Why not keep both forever: Maintaining two full domain sets has real ongoing cost and complexity (monitoring, certificates, routing rules, support/troubleshooting, and ensuring every change is compatible in two places). A defined retirement date also helps incentivize switching so customers don’t postpone updates indefinitely, which would increase the chance of disruption later.
This schedule is intended to give customers enough runway to transition safely, while still keeping momentum toward a single, Ari OS aligned set of domains.
What stays the same
The following are not changing as part of this transition:
-
Your existing RealWear Cloud services and features
-
Your accounts, data, and subscriptions
-
Authentication flows and security controls
This change is focused on visual branding and domain alignment with Ari OS.
What we recommend you do
To ensure a smooth transition before the legacy domains retire, we recommend:
-
Update bookmarks and internal documentation to use the new Ari OS domains.
-
Share the domain mapping and rollout roadmap with your IT and networking teams.
-
Update allowlists, firewall rules, and integrations to include the new domains before March 31, 2026.
Impact to IT, networking, and integrations
This update can affect:
-
URL allowlists / deny rules
-
Firewall and proxy policy rules
-
API client base URLs
-
Hardcoded links in internal portals, training docs, or SOPs
-
Automation scripts that call RealWear Cloud endpoints
Best practice: Add the new domains early and test workflows using the new URLs well ahead of March 31, 2026.

Do we have to migrate immediately?
No. Both sets of domains remain usable until March 31, 2026, but you should plan to update before then.
Are there any changes to authentication or security?
No. Authentication flows and security controls remain the same.
