Refreshed UI Design
The Arc 3, having an OLED display, requires certain design choices be adapted for it. We've turned these small adaptations into a larger visual update to the interface - aiming to make it more user-friendly while accounting for the broader goals we're looking towards from 2026 onwards.
Ari
Ari is RealWear's approach to AI - an on-device AI agent that aims to make the end-user experience seamless and effortless.
In this release, Ari is capable of:
- Global Availability - Ari can be interacted with via the global "Hey Ari"voice command or via long-pressing the Home button.
- System-Level controls via My Settings - Ari can modify system settings such as brightness, volume, Bluetooth, and flashlight through My Settings.
- Basic Q&A Functionality - Ari is able to answer general questions.
- Application Switching - Ari is able to open installed applications through the use of natural language.
- Calling via Collaborate - Ari will redirect you to login on Collaborate if you have not already done so and is able to call specific contacts.
Reworked On-Boarding flow
The My Training app which has played an integral role in the on-boarding flow of our other device series has seen a complete rework - bringing it to more modern standards.
The interface design has seen a change to account for the Arc 3's specifications (OLED display) and the information covered by the app is also up-to-date with what the software ecosystem around Arc 3 provides (touchpad, Ari).
Unified Volume Control
The Android Operating System usually has different streams of audio that are managed independently.
We have made a conscious choice to unify them into a single control interface, to keep things more user-friendly and make volume adjustments simpler and more predictable.
