How do I transfer files to or from my device?
Enabling Wired File Transfer Between Device and Computer
By Default, RealWear devices do not have file transfer enabled for security purposes. The USB-C connection is initially set to "Charging Only". This one-time process will turn on File Transfer, allowing you to view the mounted drive of your device on you desktop computer, and drag files to or from your device.
1. Connect your device to your computer using the provided USB-C Cable.
2. From the Home Screen, say the following commands:
MY PROGRAMS
SETTINGS
CONNECTED DEVICES
USB
FILE TRANSFER
The device will now be set to File Transfer, and you should be able to locate the device drive mounted to your computer.
The Navigator 500/520 will appear as its model number T21G
The Arc 3 will appear as its model number A31G
Documents, like PDF files should be placed in the DOCUMENTS folder
Video files should be placed in the MOVIES folder
Image files should be placed in the DCIM folder
Photos that you've captured on the device will be located in the DCIM>CAMERA folder.
Videos that you've captured on the device will be located in the MOVIES>CAMERA folder.
