RealWear Device Connectivity Notification

On March 31st, 2024, RealWear Devices could face connectivity disruptions when connecting to RealWear Cloud due to a certificate update from our IoT service provider.

We have addressed this issue in:

  • Firmware 1.6 for Navigator, released on September 20th, 2023
  • Firmware 12.6EMR for HMT-1 and HMT-1Z1, released on September 25th

If you encounter connectivity challenges with RealWear Cloud and your device post-March 31st and cannot update your firmware, consider downloading our specialized connectivity agent APK:

Installation Steps:

  1. Connect your headset to your computer.
  2. Download the RealWearExplorer appropriate for your operating system:
  3. Simply drag and drop the downloaded connectivity agent onto your device.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
