Logged Out Mode – Optimal for Shared Devices and Ad Hoc Meetings
Logged Out mode is designed for scenarios where the headset is used by multiple people or for one-time meetings. In this mode, the Collaborate app on the headset generates a unique five-digit code that is displayed on the headset’s screen. This code can then be provided to any Microsoft Teams user who has the RealWear desktop app installed.
How It Works:
- Code Generation: When the headset is in Logged Out mode, a five-digit code is displayed on the screen.
- Code Sharing: The headset user shares this code with a Microsoft Teams user who intends to connect.
- Desktop Connection: The Teams user enters the code into the RealWear app on their desktop.
- Instant Connection: The two parties are connected through Microsoft’s Azure Communication Services, enabling immediate communication.
