Workspace Users

This article calls out the different user roles you can create in RealWear Cloud

User Roles

A workspace is a dedicated space for you and your team. Workspaces can have multiple users with different roles. Workspace users play a role in managing devices, apps, and users within the workspace.

See the following table for a description of the Workspace user roles.

Workspace User Roles
Role Description
Admin

Helps manage the workspace. This user can perform device, app, and user management, and invite or delete operators.

Admin examples include the administrator for a specific business unit.

Operator

Help with operations. This user can perform device registration, but not app or user management.

Operator examples include team lead and shift leader.

Owner

Owns and manages the workspace. This user can perform device, app, and user management, and can invite or delete any other user.

Owner examples include business owners, corporate IT managers, and administrators.

User Permissions

User roles determine what permissions each RealWear Cloud user has within a workspace.
