Speech Keyboard
Whenever a screen asks you to type something, the speech keyboard appears over it. It gives you several ways to get text in, and you pick whichever suits what you are entering.
Choosing how to enter text

Say "CLOSE DASHBOARD" to put the list of options away.
Dictation
Say "DICTATION", then "START DICTATION", and speak. The device shows what it heard.

Dictation runs on the device by default. Cloud dictation is more accurate and handles more languages, and needs a network connection. Say "TURN ON CLOUD DICTATION" where it is offered, or set it in My Settings under Dictation.
If dictation cannot reach the cloud service the device says so rather than failing quietly, and local dictation carries on working.
Spelling something out
"VOICE KEYBOARD" uses a phonetic alphabet, the same one used over a radio. Say "ALPHA" for A, "BRAVO" for B, "CHARLIE" for C, and so on. It is slower than dictation and far more reliable for a string of letters and digits that is not a word.
Say "NUMBER" for digits, "SYMBOL" for punctuation, "LETTER" to go back to letters, and "ACCENTS" for accented characters. "UPPERCASE" and "LOWERCASE" switch case.
Entering something private
"SECURE KEYBOARD" shows a grid of characters with a number on each. Say "SELECT ITEM" followed by the number to pick a character, and "SELECT" to enter the one that is highlighted. Nothing you enter is spoken aloud.
Typing from a phone
“REMOTE KEYBOARD” pairs the device with a phone over Bluetooth and puts what you type on the phone into the field on the device.
It uses RealWear Companion, the companion app of the legacy RealWear One generation, available for Android and iOS. Ari Mobile does not provide this feature.
Turn Bluetooth on before pairing. The device lists the phones it can see, you select one, and both ends confirm the pairing. Once paired, the device reconnects to that phone on its own the next time the remote keyboard is opened.
Editing what you have entered
