Low Battery

The device watches its charge and warns you as it runs down, so a headset does not simply stop mid-job.

The warnings

A warning appears at 15 percent, 10 percent and 5 percent. Each one is a different colour, so you can tell at a glance how much is left without stopping to read it.

Say "DISMISS" to clear a warning. It will come back at the next threshold.

What to do about it

Plug the device in. It keeps working while it charges, so this costs you nothing but a cable.

Change the battery, on a device with a removable one. The warning offers "START SWAP", which lets you change the battery without shutting down or losing what you are doing. The article for your device covers how.

Turn it off if you have finished. A device that shuts down on a flat battery loses anything unsaved, the same as any other power loss.

Checking the level before it warns you

The battery level is in the status bar at the top of Ari Home, next to the time, along with whether it is charging.
