Deleting an Application
An app has to be removed from the device itself. Removing it from a fleet management console stops it being installed again; it does not take it off a device that already has it.
Uninstalling an application
- Say "NAVIGATE HOME".
- Say "MY PROGRAMS", then "ADVANCED SETTINGS".
- Say "APPS".
- Find the app. You may need to say "PAGE DOWN" to reach it, or open the full list of installed apps.
- Select it, then say "UNINSTALL".
Stopping it coming back
Remove it from wherever it was deployed from as well. If the app was pushed by Ari Business Cloud or by your device management system, that system will reinstall it at the next sync and your uninstall will be undone within minutes.
This is the usual explanation for an app that reappears on its own.
Apps that cannot be uninstalled
Some apps are part of the system and have no uninstall option. Others are locked by your organisation's policy. In both cases the uninstall button is absent rather than failing, which is how you tell this apart from a permissions problem.
