Can I use ARCore on a RealWear Headset?
Unfortunately, RealWear Headsets can't support AOSP.
ARCore is not compatible with RealWear headsets because it depends on a fixed physical relationship between the camera and the IMU accelerometers to execute its SLAM 3D calculations.
It also requires calibrated camera parameters, such as focal length and lens distortion. Moreover, ARCore is exclusively available through Google Play Services licenses, which are not accessible to devices running AOSP (Android Open Source Project).
